JetBrains AI Assistant

Streamable HTTP via URL, or mcp-remote when you need a Bearer header

Settings → Tools → AI Assistant → Model Context Protocol → Add. Needs 2025.3+ for remote HTTP (2025.2 is stdio only).

Unauthenticated or OAuth-less URL form from JetBrains' MCP page:

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "servicebay": {
      "url": "https://oauth.servicebay.io/mcp"
    }
  }
}

That page does not document custom headers or a browser OAuth flow for AI Assistant (tracker LLM-25012). For a Servicebay API key or a client that must send Authorization, bridge with mcp-remote:

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "servicebay": {
      "command": "npx",
      "args": [
        "-y",
        "mcp-remote",
        "https://oauth.servicebay.io/mcp",
        "--header",
        "Authorization:${AUTH_HEADER}"
      ],
      "env": {
        "AUTH_HEADER": "Bearer sk_live_YOUR_KEY"
      }
    }
  }
}

Do not confuse this with Settings → Tools → MCP Server, which exposes the IDE as a server to other clients.
