Claude.ai

Claude.ai (and Cowork / the Claude mobile apps) connect to remote MCP servers from Anthropic's cloud, not from your device. The Servicebay endpoint is public HTTPS, so that is fine.

Add the connector

Team / Enterprise

1. Organization settings → Connectors → Add → Custom → Web.
2. MCP server URL: https://oauth.servicebay.io/mcp
3. Leave Advanced OAuth Client ID/Secret empty so Claude uses dynamic client registration (DCR). Or paste a pre-registered confidential client from the developer portal.
4. Click Add, then connect and complete consent.

Pro / Max / Free

1. Customize → Connectors → Add custom connector.
2. URL: https://oauth.servicebay.io/mcp
3. Optionally set OAuth credentials under Advanced settings.
4. Add, then approve the Servicebay consent screen (scope matrix, optional expiry).

Claude detects Streamable HTTP from a URL that does not end in /sse. Do not change the transport.

Static key instead of OAuth

In the connector's Request headers section:

Authorization: Bearer sk_live_YOUR_KEY

Use a key whose allowedUses includes mcp. A read-only key is enough for search/list; writes need write or entity:write.

Callback

Claude.ai's hosted OAuth callback is https://claude.ai/api/mcp/auth_callback. Servicebay DCR accepts that HTTPS redirect.

Limits

• Tool results ~150,000 characters; timeout 300 seconds.
• Free plans: one custom connector.
• The server must stay reachable from the public internet (it is).
